Ponta Delgada

We arrived in the Azores at 700AM. After breakfast and my Pilates lesson, I went over to "main street" to try to find applique toothpicks. The general store had a wonderful selection of toothpicks (good news). They all had pointy ends (bad news). Angelia, if you are reading this, I will try again in Lisboa. When we were here for a week earlier, we tried to go to Sete Cidades to see the magnificent views. Each day would start out sunny, and by the time we reached Sete Cidades and the lakes, there would be low clouds and fog. However, yesterday, even though it was overcast, we had success! I have taken a lot of photos and look forward to posting some when we get home. It was sad to leave ponta Delgada, but we will be back again. It's only 600 more miles to Lisboa (Lisbon).
