Working on Several Projects at Once

For anyone working on hand applique, patience is a virtue. An individual queen-size bed quilt can often take 2-10 years to complete. It is for this reason that a lot of people work on smaller, less complicated projects to provide variety. The "Ladies of the Sea" sailing ship quilt is one of those side projects. I haven't decided if I will make all of the blocks, or be satisfied with a smaller wall hanging. For the time being, I find it fun to applique a few of these blocks with the other ladies in our Southeastern Connecticut Applique Group.
