"Best laid plans"
I know I promised many of you that I would faithfully post every day. The little Acer computer is working like a charm. So far, the internet reception has been great (except in the center of the fjords). About one day out on the ship, Jim developed rather serious infections in both legs. We have been working continuously with the dedicated, young South African doctor on board as well as the wonderful specialists at the Tromso University Hospital to bring things reasonably under control for the time being. We will continue on a day-to-day basis on the cruise.
I had hoped to add to the blog at each city and/or port we visted in chronological order, but additions may not be in sequence.
