Cruising South from the Berents Sea to Norway's Lofoten Islands
The last time we were cruising from North Cape traveling south, we were on Hurtigruten's ship Richard With. I really wanted to visit the Lofoten Islands, but we had to stay on board. (They had a wonderful anniversary party planned for us, and the Lofoten tour group would not return in time for dinner on the ship.) This time, I was really looking forward to exploring Lofoten. (Jim was quite ill with his leg infections, so he stayed in the cabin. He did't want to miss Russia, so he did the sightseeing trip around Murmansk and had lunch at the resort two days before.)
