Time for an applique break from my Mary Simon quilt. I made this Ladies of the Sea block, the Oseburg.

Hi Margaret,

I happened upon your blog and saw you are working on two of the same applique quilts I am, Civil War Bride Quilt and Ladies of the Sea. Your Oseburg block is lovely. It looks like you used some batiks. I have most all of the Ladies blocks assembled and I used batiks for all of them. I am doing Ladies with machine applique and the Bride I am appliqueing by needleturn. I am spending a little more time on the Bride right now. I wish I could fit in Mary Simon also, I am impressed you are keeping up with them all.

Happy Stitching and glad I found your blog,

Cheri
