Applique With Nancy Kerns

Nancy recently met with a few applique ladies to teach dimensional applique techniques. My friend, Danielle, and I went together for a full day of stitching fun. Nancy taught flower and bug construction, using techniques developed by both Ellen Heck and Shirley Bloomfield. It was a fun day.

Margaret, me alegro mucho que te lo hayas pasado tan bien aprendiendo más cosas sobre el appliqué. El trabajo de Nancy es precioso. Un beso

What inspiration! I met Shirley and saw her quilts at a book signing she did near me. Her work is great.
