When I saw this fabric in the upholstery section of JoAnne's Fabric, I thought it would make a nice item for our Applique Retreat's Goody Bag. I cut the fabric and my friend, Danielle, helped me by machine stitching an edging around each piece. We then used left-over scraps of batting (3 to a carrier) to make these template storage units. I have discovered that by having the pieces to applique all drawn, precut, and stored, that the process of stitching the applique pieces moves at a much more rapid pace.
