Twin Baltimore Album Quilts

If you are just joining the block photos at this point, I will explain. I ended up making a black Baltimore Album quilt (my first quilt ever), then decided to make a white Baltimore Album quilt (my second quilt) at the same time. I wanted to note the comparison of different fabrics using the dark and light backgrounds. Some of the blocks were identical, some were not. As time progressed, I discovered that papercuts worked better on the black background, while I could get more creative with the white background, due to the fact that it was easier for me to transfer patterns to the light material.
