Every now and then you have the opportunity of meeting a master applique artist. Mary of our Thames River Quilters group is one such person. Mary has been doing applique for many years and has taught a number of classes on the subject. Her work is exquisite. This current project includes not only applique, but each piece has at least one embroidery element. This project always draws a lot of admirers around her work area when she brings it to the Z-Bees.
