they are both so gorgeous I would not able able to decide.. but will warn you black is harder to see then the lighter color

Yes, these are my first two Baltimore Album quilts. The ladies who visited the store were divided by preference. I just noticed from the photos that the blocks on the black background appear to be larger, even though they are the same size.

Hi Margaret, thank you for stopping by my blog :0) Since you are set at no reply I thought I would come here and answer you question about my Dutch Treat Block. These are all reverse applique and are needle turned...no interfacing is being used.

Your Baltimores are beautiful. I see you are working on the Mary Simon...it's on my to do list...someday LOL.
