LE (Making a little progress)

I mark on the back, then do a running stitch for a turn under line.
I lay the pattern over the front and have a charcoal sheet facing up in the back while drawing from the front. (Lazy--no light box involved)

....a little non-conventional Broderie Perse.

Very nice. I wouldn't have a clue how to do this.
