Civil War Historical Reenactment Season

Many of you know that for many years my husband, Jim, has been enjoying historical reenactments from many time periods. He started out as part of the 42nd Royal Highlanders (Revolutionary War) but spends most of his time with Civil War reenactments in the Northeast at this time. He plays the part of a Topographical Engineer (4th from the left in the photo). Over the years, others have asked to join the Topogs. These are the engineers who attended the annual meeting and instruction day at Fort Trumbull in New London, Connecticut, recently. These engineers keep busy working at Fort Trumbull to repair and enhance the displays at the fort, as well as attend a busy schedule of reenactments under the auspices of the New England Brigade throughout several New England states between April and November of each year.
