Stitching in Tight Quarters

I found myself stitching behind the wheel on Saturday while waiting in the parking lot of a restaurant in Coventry.

(A little trimming after reverse applique.)

I am using 60 weight thread as much as possible. This coverlet will weigh quite a bit when finished, and the 60 weight may hold better than the silk on the larger items.

I don't like stitching in the direct sunlight, however, it is easy to see.

Oh lovely wee Dutch varies running around your border, your work looks so lovely, your wee oak leaves are so perfect wish I could do them like that. Cheers Glenda
