I'm not sure why I wait so long to add the final 3 or 4 template pieces.
Perhaps I am enjoying the process, so don't want it to end.

I do love this block and I have a theory about finishing or more to the point avoiding finishing for awhile.Not wanting it to be over certainly can factor in but I believe there is more to it than that. I have suffered from this malady for a very long time. I believe there is something to be said for not wanting it to be over. Perhaps even a small amount of grief. These quilts become a part of us and when they are finished I immediately begin missing the journey! Of course I am a little weird I suppose. Do love the block and will be back to look for more.
